ABOUT ME

I first became interested in photography when my oldest son was born. Fourteen years (and two more boys) later, I still love taking pictures.

I have a degree in Advertising from Brigham Young University. I learned a lot studying advertising that helps me as a photographer--principles of design and composition and creative thinking, that I use often when taking pictures.

I enjoy taking pictures of just about anything.  I especially love shooting street and urban scenes.  I also take a lot of food photos for my recipe blog, Let's Dish

Some of my favorite photos of all time are family treasures. I cherish the old photographs I have of my grandparents, great-grandparents, and even great-great grandparents.

In the words of John Berger, “All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget.”
