SNEAK PEEK: THE KNUDSEN FAMILY

I've been taking pictures of these adorable girls and their parents for several years now.  I don't know how it's possible, but they get cuter every time I see them.

SNEAK PEEK: KATIE & DREW

I had the honor of photographing the wedding of my friends Katie and Drew last Saturday.

We've known Drew since he and my husband attended graduate school together eleven years ago.  We met Katie as the wedding plans began to unfold.  I liked her right away.  And she won the rest of the family over when she and Drew came to the house to discuss wedding photography . . . and brought pizza for everyone!

There were so many things I loved about their wedding . . .

. . . like Katie and Drew.

Or the fact that Katie has known Julie, her Maid of Honor, since the 6th grade.

I love that Katie wore her mother's veil. . . .

and that they gave all their guests a tree seedling to take home and grow.

Of course, I loved the cupcakes . . .

And I loved this father-daughter moment.  I have a lot of favorites, but this photo of Katie and her dad might just be my most favorite of all.

They requested no gifts.  Just to be with the people they cared about.  The day was a wonderful celebration of Drew and Katie, but I wouldn't be suprised if their guests left feeling like it was a special day planned for each of them.  Thanks so much for letting me be a part of it.

TODAY'S POST IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE LETTER A

I'm finally getting around to posting some letters from my photo alphabet series.  I don't necesarilly plan to post the letters in order, but I figured I might as well start at the beginning.  Eventually, I'd like to collect enough letters to make an alphabet book.  Maybe when I'm done with letters I'll move on to numbers . . .
