I love pomegranates!
They're tasty and pretty. It's a little tricky getting all of those yummy seeds out though. I think the technical term for them is arils. I recently learned about peeling a pomegranate in a bowl of water. It works great! No red splatters all over your kitchen walls.
I put these in cookies, with white chocolate chips. They were delicious!

These are so pretty! I've never had them in choc chip cookies. Sounds good!

That looks so pretty and delicious! I use the trick of whacking a wooden spoon against the back of a pomegranate to get the seeds out! I have to try the water trick!

I keep forgetting to buy one of these - I have been wanting to cut it in half, I just love the way they look! That shot is just gorgeous, and cookies? Hmmm, wow!!
