Do you have one thing you love to photograph more than anything else? For me, it's street scenes. Urban settings. That sort of thing . . .
If I could have any photography job in the world, I'd be a photojournalist.
I've been working on this post forever. Trying to choose a reasonable number of pictures.
Every time I think I've figured it out, I shoot more street scenes that I want to include.
I don't live in a big city. I live in an average sized city with a vibrant, eclectic downtown. There are fancy restaurants and hot dog stands. Thrift stores and high end boutiques.
Painted pianos that are just left out for anyone to play.
Historic old buildings that house funky, modern shops.
Lots of bicycle riders.
And motorcycle riders.
And did I mention bicycle riders? Unless, of course, you're in the dismount zone. We can't have all those cyclists running down pedestrians.
I love knowing that every time I head downtown, I'll find something new to photograph.
I mean, you just never know when someone is going to leave their wagon parked outside the spice shop. You can see all of my street and urban photography
here.
